We have a Hitachi PD42-A3000 Plasma Screen (serial#G4D000648) with a separate Audio Visual Control Box ‘AVC-A3000’ (serial#G3J000110)
This Screen has a separate AVC unit/Box to drive it.
Would you please give us some advice ?

Trying to find out where i can buy the Plasma TV stand? Mine has recently broken and we need a replacement.
Can these work without the tv box
Has anyone figured out whether the PD42-A3000 can work without the AVC box? I tried plugging in a set top decoder via a HDMI to DVI converter cable but that didn't work. The "Hitachi specified cable" that connects the AVC to the monitor has two wires, one seems to be DVI. What does the other wire do? Any comments are greatly appreciated. My AVC box died and the monitor seemed to be still working.

I have a plazma pd42 but i dnt have a box of tv chanels . I attached other devises but no result on display . I need the box who become attach with plazma .
